Prof. Luciano teresi
LT graduated with honors (magna cum laude) in Aeronautical Engineering at Sapienza, Università di Roma, and earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at the same university in 1996.
Main research lines include:
- Mechanics of active soft matter; swelling in gels; soft elasticity of nematic elastomers; growth and remodeling of living tissues; mechanical models for muscles. - Biomechanics: growth and remodeling of living tissues; mechanical models for muscles, modelling of electro-mechanics of the heart.
