Research activity
Jack Tuszynski’s has applied diverse physical, computational and mathematical methods to resolve concrete biological problems such as the molecular model of memory (with Dr. Hameroff of the University of Arizona), the role of zinc in Alzheimer’s disease (with Dr. Tanzi of Harvard Univ.) or bioelectronics/biomechanical properties of actin filaments and microtubules (with Dr. Cantiello of Harvard Medical School).
Jack Tuszynski’s scientific activity has been always paralleled by a marked attention to technology transfer, moved by the awareness that translation to bedside of scientific discoveries is fundamental in a modern society as witnessed by over 20 patents applications and four awarded international patents.
Jack Tuszynski’s is author of over 400 Papers in Refereed Journals.
